NECCAT is a web-based NEC contract administration platform that manages the complete procedural lifecycle of NEC3 and NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contracts. It originated as a working Microsoft Access system used on real NEC contracts and has been fully redeveloped as a modern web application — which means the workflows reflect how NEC actually operates, not how a software developer imagined it might.

NEC contracts impose strict obligations on both parties to communicate formally and respond within defined timeframes. Missed notifications, late responses and unmanaged compensation events have real commercial consequences — missed entitlements, deemed acceptances, time-barring. NECCAT enforces these workflows so the right things happen in the right sequence, and nothing slips through.
